Haven’t posted lately because the recovery is going smoothly. Only a week left until I’m able to head home (where I’ll be taking another month off to recuperate before returning to work).

It’s sort of odd to realize I’ve now become one of the “elders of the island” here. With new patients arriving constantly and others being discharged back home nearly every day (Dr. Suporn operates five days a week) it’s a bit like a reality TV show with a constant turnover of contestants — except in this case, everyone wins a shiny new vagina and vulva. 😃

On the happier side, today I had a two-hour Thai massage for about US$18. A bit ouchy at times, but OMG, so needed. Definitely will be doing at least 1-2 more while I’m here.
