Got the OK from the surgeons this morning to be able to do a little walking around the hospital room today (1-2 trips total), albeit I have to have a nurse’s assistance to make sure I don’t fall.

But more importantly, I got permission to start pooping as of today! Not sure I really want to until tomorrow when they remove the vaginal packing <insert jokes about stuffed beavers here>, since it seems like things might be a little crowded down there. But nice to have the option.

Just two more nights here and then I can go back “home” to the hotel for the remaining three weeks. I won’t see that much more, because I’ll be spending a good part of my time in the hotel room, but it at least it’ll be a change of scenery, better food, and a chance to hang out with the other patients.
